The Office of
County Hearing Officer
Hearing Officer Information
All Hearing Officers selected by the Office of County Hearing Officer (OCHO) have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience and are active members of the California State Bar. Additionally, each Hearing Officer has completed at least 15 hours of specialized training focused on administering fair and impartial administrative hearings, including training on ensuring fairness, due process, and compliance with legal standards.
The Hearing Officer assigned to your case is selected randomly by the OCHO, with careful consideration to ensure there are no conflicts of interest. Specifically, the selected Hearing Officer does not represent the County department involved in your matter and has no other potential conflicts related to the matter.
